Can I locktite a bolt in a oily environment or is there an alternative?

Sounds like you have stripped threads if thats the the case no amount of locktite will hold I dont know if you can have the hole rethreaded or not for the locktite to work properly the bolt and hole have to be clean of all oil and dirt
