Is my house liable to Capital Gains Tax?

It is my only property, only I do not live in it, as it only has permission to be used as a holiday let and the council have said that I will not get "change of use" if I apply. My husband and I renovated it from a shell, spending a considerable amount on it. If sold, will it be liable to Capital Gains tax?
