I found out that many singaporeans are eating turtles as their dinner and lunch dishes.. most popular eaten turtles are eared eared sliders, soft shelled turtles, and even snake head turtles.. i went to many markets in singapore, and was shocked to find that turtles that are sold for restaurant tables are mostly found in the town side of singapore, like chinatown.. when i got to a market near chinatown, i saw many juvenile or roughly big red eared sliders kept in cages..each cage containing at least 10 to 20 live red eared sliders. the space was seriously cramped. the soft shelled turtles are all stuffed into ann empty pail, all waiting to be sold or killed on the spot. what shocked me most was when i saw the man selling them just use a knife and a sharp metal equipment cutting open the shell of a red eared slider, and digging and slicing the flesh out of a live red eared slider, while it just screeched and groaned in pain... this was consequently done the same to other turtles, frogs and fishes that were sold there.. i just cannot bear to see these people doing things like this just to satisfy their eating needs.. there are so many things they could eat, but why must they purposely breed turtles and other creatures just to kill and eat them? the reason they give is that the population of these creatures are overly populated, so they have to reduce the number of these creatures.. but seriously, they are the ones that breed them out of greed! please give me your views, thanks.

well this night was definitely one to forget but there was a few hands i think i could learn a lot from like one with a straight vs the old runner runner flush: i limped pre-flop with 8 6 as it was short handed and everyone was limping, plus its pretty fishy so mediocre hands will pay you off, and i flopped an open ender and bet, get raised pretty substantially and everyone folds, so i call. turn puts a second spade on the board, however, gives me the nuts. i bet about the pot size as i was pretty sure this guy has two pair or better and was hoping he would feel weakness and raise....nope, he just calls and sure enough a third spade peels off....concisely, i bet he raises and i just call watching a 2000 dollar head towards him, is there anything there i could get out of that or was that fish at their best? and what makes the hand more confusing was he did not even have a pair, just a j high in spades.... lessons? one last hand....i get aces, yet there is a raise a two callers before me....perfect right? not really. i re-raise to about 150, kinda an irritation raise as the pot is about 180 before that.....so everyone folds except one person that i am fairly familiar with and before he called pre-flop he said it was a bad call....so instantly all pairs are canceled and im thinking suited long distant connectors, like 9 5 or so....flop is j 9 2 two clubs....and he checks....i just went all in as i figured if it did hit him, he was on a draw, maybe a pair and a flush it was pretty even...basically wanted to push him off. (sets are out of my range with him putting in the pre-flop statement) and he sits there forever, contemplating and im thinking oh **** he has j 9 which would be an ok call preflop as that is aces buster but after a while he calls flips over j 2 in spades. so i understand the push isn't necessarily a good play but how in the world is it justified in calling a three bet with j 2 out of position? say the flop gives him trips...2 2 x im out of there hence the preflop discussion....say its j j x, im at least slowing down and not paying him off so two pair is really all he can hit there and win a big pot not mentioning if an ace comes out he is absolutely dead...tips?

Hi, I'm 21 years old and I feel like I'm going crazy. I keep thinking I hear music when there is none around (no I don't listen to music that much). My eyes sometimes feel like they're fuzzy, swollen, floating. I feel like there's some kind of chemical imbalance in my brain. I don't know. I have extreme social anxiety at times. There's been a few times that my vision has been blurred or my perifreal (sp?) vision has completely went blurry, but my head didn't start hurting until afterwards. I'm worried I might be bipolar, because it does run in my family (bipolar has been linked to genes). I'm also worried I might have a brain tumor. I know I sound paranoid, but i've looked up symptoms and I do have some of them. Can anybody tell me if they have had/ or know someone with bipolar disorder or a brain tumor? The UTG plus 3 guy calls me and the flop comes 10. 6 3 rainbow. He min raises donk betting 600. I feel I can slow play my hand by smooth calling and making my move somewhere else I call. Turn comes 8 hearts so 2 hearts on board. He min raises again and i decide to raise to half the pot bring 4k - as i feel if I smooth call the max value out of my hand would be decreased as now if the board pair or a heart or ace comes I'd be representing one of them cards. To my amazement he min re re raises me 4 betting to about 7,200. I call feeling that he's either got 2 pair so I want to keep the pot small or I feel if I have the best hand I can call a half pot bet on the river or bet half pot if he checks to me depending if the river is an ace or not... River comes a 8 and he bets the pot being 23k which is neally him going all in as he has 7k behind. Now I'm very confused. Cramping and diarrhea for 4 days now?

For the past four days i have been experiencing stomach cramps (or maybe bloating?) with mild to moderate severity. The cramps come in waves however there is always a small cramp feeling by my lower stomach/waist. The waves of cramping usually happen every fem minutes causing pain in my entire stomach/gut area from anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds. Throughout this i have also been experiencing diarrhea. Major eye problem and pain plz help ?

We were at the beach this morning and basically my brother threw a bunch of that sand with little shells in it at my face and my eye was open when it hit and a ton of it got in my eye. Hermit Crab Help !!!!!!!!?

I own 3 hermit crabs. I have them in a pretty big plastic cage and they all seem very happy ! They have small huts for each of them, a pool of water, food, and 3 sponges. HELP with friend who causes built up anger!?!?

The raccoon was being somewhat aggressive to the neighbor and did after all, pose a threat to him so I'm not going to report it. Please dont go buy a ferret thinking you know how to care for it and then have it suffer because you didnt do your research. If you are too cheap to fork over good money (at least 200$) to buy a good ferret cage, not a rabbit hutch and no cheap ferret starter cages. Our school has a Queer Straight Alliance, it's a good starting place. And when you finally manage to meet one gay guy, you'll start to meet his group of friends, and just branch out from there. I can't speak for everyone, but I love meeting new gay guys, once I got comfortable with being gay it wasn't hard and I'm pretty masc like you. Also, usually there are little stupid things that are trendy with groups of gays in certain cities (hairstyles, t-shirts, brands of pants) blah blah blah, maybe pay attention and try one of those things. Girlfriend taller than me, I'm short?? it sucks?

I'm what you'd consider "butch" and its important to me to feel as tall or a little taller than my fem gf. However, I am 4'9'' and she's a little over 5'2. I'm very self concious about my height and wear five inch elevation shoes to feel better about myself. The shoes kinda hurt, are bulky, and are getting too hot for summer. In the last year I've decided that I was tired of being single and that I wanted to get back out into the dating scene.
